Together with Cambridge University IfM, UoM, MakeUK and partners, we are organising the second season of the manufacturing automation program. This year we are focused on exploring in detail the data collection process in small to medium manufacturers trying to optimise their production lines, find their true cost of production or prepare for tracking carbon footprint.
To do that, we are interviewing General or Production Managers for 15-20 minutes about their ways of data collection, their toughest bottlenecks and the 'hacks' they found beyond pen, paper & spreadsheets.
Manufacturers will be invited as guest speakers during the 3-week automation program in November. All will receive access to valuable content and insights. Last year more than 50 manufacturers participated.
